Alvin Westley Pierce, Sr. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Alvin was born on January 23, 1937 to George and Lucille Pierce in Oklahoma City, OK. Alvin has worked in the bowling industry as a Service Technician since the early 1960’s. Alvin was known best for his kind heart, huge sense of humor and his love of pranks. Alvin was creative and loved to write his wife of almost 60 years love letters and poems. He always enjoyed music, playing the piano and the guitar and being active in the music industry. A crowd always gathered when he was playing music. Alvin enjoyed making everyone around him laugh. He enjoyed being with his family above and beyond anything. He could usually be found sitting on the porch swing whittling or tinkering in the garage. Camping and fishing with his kids and grandchildren were another favorite pastime.
Alvin is survived by his loving wife Delilah Gale, Children and spouses Wes and Lynn Pierce, Danny Pierce, Julia and Todd Herron, grandchildren, Eric, Ryan, Mariah, Chandler, Emily, Alexis, and great grandchildren Kamden, Cody and Raylee and his beloved fur baby Farley. Alvin is preceded in death by his Parents, George and Lucille, and his siblings Patricia, Joann, and Gary.
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Chapel at Coles Garden 1415 NE 63rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73111.
