Billie Dean Townsend (Boatman)

Billie Dean Townsend (Boatman) passed away on February 10, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 16, 1928 in Waldo, Arkansas she is the daughter of Richard and Etta Boatman (Ilaherty). She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Hooper – son-in-law, Ron Hooper – granddaughter, Aubrey Hooper – granddaughter, Missy (Hooper) Hyatt and husband Bryan Hyatt – great-grandson, Corbin Hyatt.  Sister, Sharon (Susie) Wilt and brother, Richard Boatman.

Mom loved working in her flower beds and her vegetable garden.  She attended Sheridan Road Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK and worked in the 2 year old department for 20 plus years.  She loved collecting Precious Moments, sewing and creating ceramics.  She worked at Nordam Aerospace Component Manufacturing as a Fabricator for over 25 years.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.
