Brenda Karon Maralis (Black) passed away on August 25, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with loving family and friends by her side. Brenda was born on July 18, 1949 in Quanah, Texas she is the daughter of Wyfred Oliver and Bobbie Jean Black (Brownlow). Brenda worked as an Accountant most of her life finishing up in the Tourism industry. Brenda loved to travel with the love of her life Mike. She leaves behind children and grandchildren that she loved dearly.

I love you Marsalis family, Brenda was one of the best there ever was! I miss her, and I miss you guys. She made life better, especially for a college kid from Kansas just trying to make it through. I’ll never be able to thank you enough Van, for your friendship and for getting to know your wonderful parents. Blessings and prayers for you all!

Mike, I am so saddened to hear of your loss of Brenda. You two were so special to me when we were all in Waynoka. Thank you again for the comfort you gave me when Les passed away. I hope you can find the same comfort knowing how many people loved you both.
