Carlos Edward Pettengill lV passed away on September 19, 2016 in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born on May 11, 1949 in Staten Island, NewYork. He is the son of Carlos and Virginia Pettengill (Nielsen). He worked as a Automotive Mechanic.
He was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Dad I’m so sorry we couldn’t spend time and reconcile before you were called home to glory. I love you, I always have and I always will. Prayers to Your wife, may she find peace and comfort, lifting your sons Eddie and Christipher up in prayer, may you find peace and comfort. Thinking of you all in our dads passing. I’m glad he’s not suffering or in pain any longer.

He left behind a legacy… His wife Robin, his 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He will be forever in our hearts and memories as we pass on the lessons he left behind.

Ed was the most influential mechanic and teacher in my life. He taught me how to approach and fiercely attack automotive problems and solve them. He was a fighter in all ways to the end and really had the kindest of hearts – we should all take note of his strengths and weaknesses. Miss you man!
