Carol Ann Echols

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann “Gaga” (Feuerborn) Echols, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Carol passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024, in Norman, OK, surrounded by her family.

Carol was born June 8, 1950, in Visalia, CA, the daughter of Robert and Frances Feuerborn. She grew up in Norman, OK, and attended Norman High School. 

Carol is survived by her two children: Drew Cleveland (Jill) of Colorado Springs CO, and Adria Winans (Chet) of Aubrey, TX. She is also survived by her Stepsons Brian Echols of Norman, OK, and Steven Echols (Stephanie) of Ballwin, MO, her sister Barbara Andros of Norman, OK, and brother Charles Feuerborn (Norma) of Granbury, TX, four Grandchildren, three Nieces, three Nephews, six Great Nieces, three Great Nephews, and many cousins and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert “Wayne” Feuerborn.

Carol had a huge heart and a great personality. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and shopping at TJ Maxx & Target with her daughter and sister! Carol had an immense love for her cat Pokey and Jesus! Her final days were spent surrounded by love in the presence of her family. 

Carol’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. A graveside service to honor and remember Carol will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Norman, OK on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:00 am.
