- Chelesa “Chel” Gay Couch Nietenhoefer, 52, passed away on February 17, 2025, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was born to William Couch and Teresa Dinsmore at Highland General Hospital in Pampa, Texas on April 12, 1972.

- She was raised by her grandmother, Vivian or as she was better known, “Nanny”. She spent her childhood in Pampa and graduated from Pampa High School in 1990. After high school, she began pursuing a career in nursing. She received her nursing degree from Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater, OK. She moved to Perkins, Oklahoma where she was a nurse and raised her two sons. She lived a life of crafting and cheering on her sons at baseball and football games. She will be remembered for her loving and caring soul.

- She was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Ben and Vivian Riley; stepfather, Bob Dinsmore; and her mother, Teresa Dinsmore.

- She is survived by her son Austin Nietenhoefer, wife Faith, granddaughter, Hattie Nietenhoefer; her son Kellan Nietenhoefer, fiancé Janie; her father, Bill Couch; her sister Leah Fording, husband Joseph, her nephews Levi and Granger Fording; and her brother Jared Couch.

- Services will be held at the Vasser Center in Perkins, Oklahoma on March 7th from 3-5 pm.
