Cheryl, loving wife to David and Amazing Mother to Mariah and David III acquired her wings on May 18th, 2024 in her home surrounded by her husband and daughter. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, but her favorite title was Grandma Cheryl.
Cheryl was born to Bill and Jean DeArman on December 29th, 1959 in San Luis Obispo, California. She lived her childhood in Paden, Oklahoma. She graduated Paden High School as Valedictorian in 1978. Cheryl earned an Associate Degree in Child Development from Redlands College.
Cheryl married David Clark Jr. on November 7, 1987. They shared an amazing 37 years together.
Cheryl retired after a fulfilling career at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2022. She made an impact on so many lives during her time with the University. Cheryl was known for her amazing kindness to all and her heart of gold.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her Daddy Bill DeArman, sister Sabrina, and brother Billy Jr.
Cheryl is survived by her mother Jean DeArman, “Papa” David Clark Sr., “Momma” Rudi Clark, husband David Clark Jr., daughter Mariah Funk and husband Devin, son David Clark III and wife Nikki. Four grandchildren Carson, Mailey, “Four” David IV and Gracie. Three brothers Tom Clark and wife Cary, Marc Clark, and Tim Clark and wife Shelva. Three sisters Rose Slayton Barbara Clark and Katherine Barnes along with her two very special nieces Lindsy and Caitlyn Clark. She is survived by a great number of extended family and friends with whom she considered her immediate family as well.
