Clarke Lewis Randall

Clarke Lewis Randall was born on July 30, 1948 in Washington, D.C. to Raymond L. and Betty C. Randall.  Clarke spent many of his early years in Southeast Asia where his father was employed by the Agency for International Development, as well as the Ford Foundation.   His family returned to the United States in 1966 and settled in Norman, Oklahoma.  Clarke graduated from Wentworth Military Academy in 1968, received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Indiana, his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma , and his LLM degree in taxation law from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Clarke entered the law profession in Oklahoma City and became a partner with the firm Kornfield, Franklin & Phillips.  In 1991 he married the love of his live, Laurie Ann Johnson.  When Clarke’s younger brother Walker suffered a tragic spinal cord injury 1980, Clarke was by his side with support and encouragement.  CR, as he was affectionately known, touched the lives of many, and his intelligence, wit, kindness, zest for good times, and contagious laugh are qualities that will be delightfully shared by all who knew him.  Sadly, for those  he leaves behind, he was called to heaven on March 21, 2015 where he was reunited with those who left before him, including his parents, his aunt Jayne and uncle Bill, his closest friend and brother Walker. The Ran-dell brothers are together once again.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Laurie, extended family members William, Diana, Elise and Brooks Kreiling, Karen Keever, Dylan Keever, William Veulemans and Kimberly Kreiling.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law Michele Starr, nephew Christopher Starr, nephew Matthew Starr and his fiance Lauren Himpelmann, and sister-in-law Karen Carney.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. David Karasek, Good Shepherd Hospice and especially Roxanna and Pam for their care and concern for Clarke during his illness.

A Memorial Service for Clarke Randall is scheduled for 2:oo P.M. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Resurrection Free Methodist Church located at 6000 N. MacArthure Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
