In Loving Memory of Clifford Dee Wall

February 7, 1955 – March 22, 2025

Clifford Dee Wall passed away at home on March 22, 2025, after a battle with esophageal cancer. He was born on February 7, 1955, at Fort Hood, Texas, to Clifford Henry Wall and June Marie Wall (Roberds). Dee was the eldest of three brothers—Dee, Doug, and Dusty.

He graduated from Anadarko High School in 1973. After graduation he attended SWOSU before transferring to OSU where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business and Administration in 1979. Later, after joining the Air Force Reserves, he obtained his A&P license from MetroTech.

Dee proudly served 22 years in the military, beginning with four years in the U.S. Army, including two years stationed in Germany, where he shipped his Corvette to drive on the Autobahn. After his time in the Army, he returned to Anadarko, where he owned and operated many businesses, including Bono’s Pizza, Yellow Cab, Yellow Garage, and Mr. Donut. During this time, he proudly became a father to his daughter Kimberly, with Susan Seidel. Then in 1993, he rejoined the military, serving in the Air Force Reserves, Oklahoma Air National Guard, and ultimately retiring from the Texas Air National Guard in 2011. He enjoyed traveling with the military to places such as: Utah, Alaska, Cyprus, Hawaii, and Japan. Dee encouraged others to join the military to see the world on the “government’s dime.”

Dee retired from Tinker AFB in 2015 but stayed just as busy as ever. He was always there to help with anything and everything—laying sewer lines, working on tractors and cars, even butchering a cow. He was the ultimate DIY guy, always finding a way to fix things himself rather than paying someone else. “If there’s a will, there’s a way,” one of his many sayings—whether that meant repurposing materials, making his own tools, or holding onto something ‘just in case’. Even after being diagnosed with cancer in October 2023, he continued helping others up until his final days. His kindness, dedication, humor, and love for others will always be remembered by all who knew him.

Dee is preceded in death by his parents, June and Clifford Wall; the mother of his daughter, Susan Seidel; and his brother, Courtney Duston Wall.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly, and son-in-law, Caleb Lakins; his grandchildren, Kayleigh and Easton; his brother, Doug; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt, and countless friends.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held at Anadarko First Baptist Church on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 a.m.

In his honor, the family invites you to dress as he would have; wear your camo, plaid, OSU colors, or anything that reminds you of him. Whether it’s a favorite shirt, or something that Dee would wear. Wear it with pride as we celebrate a life well-lived.
