Constance Jay Bright was born on August 3, 1944, in Dalhart, Texas and passed away on June 26, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Connie was born in Texas but spent her formative teenage years in Beaver, Oklahoma. She achieved both undergraduate and master's degrees and lived her adult life in Oklahoma City. There, in addition to many volunteer activities, she was a board member, teacher, and girls' basketball coach at Westminster School. She also spent significant time in Santa Fe, New Mexico, serving as a longtime board member of the Santa Fe Conservation Trust. She engaged in everything with enthusiasm, positivity, and grit, always displaying a strong sense of fairness, humor, and honesty, and treated everyone with the utmost kindness and respect.

Above all, Connie was selflessly dedicated to her friends and family, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them. She was a loyal and trusted friend to so many. The countless number of friends who cared for her in her final days and months is a true testament to the deep and meaningful relationships she cultivated throughout her life. Her family will be forever grateful to all of them and for the love and support they provided.
