Daniel Earl Kent, 59 beloved husband of Kelly Kent, joined our Lord in heaven on the 6th day of July 2016. He was welcomed into eternal life by his father, Bruce Kent who was anxious to share in the glory, and a 3 day old pot of coffee.
He is survived in life by his mother, Dorothy Jean Kent, sons Justin (Stacey) Kent, Michael Kent, Eric Kent, Maxwell Kent and beloved daughter Zoë Kent; in addition to brothers Larry (Sue) Kent, Mark (Jamie) Kent, Wayne (Daana) Kent and sister Darlene Kent.
He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his 10 grandchildren Noyanna, Chloe, Grex, Gavin, Evrett, Charlotte, Eiza, Maisie-Jayce, Meili and Hannah; all whom will miss his laughter and playful spirit the most.
Dan was well loved by family and friends alike. Although his exterior was tough, those who knew him will always remember the way he loved most fiercely. Dan’s laughter was contagious, his enthusiasm for life immeasurable, and his presence in a room was a gravitational pull that few could avoid, and those that did, surely have a void in their lives that no other man can fill.
He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved him
A Memorial Celebration is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 8, 2016 in the Grand Hall at Castle Falls located at 820 N. MacArthur Blvd. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73127

Our sincerest condolences & love to Danny’s family & friends! I cherish the memories of our youth, spending summer vacations with our cousins. Even tho we lost touch as we grew into adulthood, I know Danny was a good man & is now reunited with his Dad, my Dad, as well as Uncle John, their sister Jean & their parents! What a glorious reunion that has been, of that I am sure! RIP cuz, til we meet again.

Condolences to the family Dan left behind… I grew up in the neighborhood with Dan and his siblings in Auburn Heights, till the family moved to Johannesburg Mich..and tho I haven’t seen Dan in many years I still have many memories from our childhood. One in particular was when we were in
Kindergarten, everyone was passing out their tiny Valentines at the school party. I get back to my desk and there was this monster of a Heart, among the small ones. It was signed from Dan… and I still have that Valentine in my memory box.. Love and Hugs to all that were touched by Dan’s life..hold onto your memories

To all of Dan’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Words can’t describe all the fun times I had with Dan when we went to school at the BLM. Dan was like a brother to me. I just wish I could attend his services. Dan will always be in my thoughts and prayers!
