On December 30th 2015 Darren passed away in Ponca city. He was surrounded by his mother & father. Darren was born June 24th 1984 in Norman, OK to Bobby & Karen Barnard.

As a child Darren enjoyed playing football & watching NASCAR with his dad. He loved picking on his little sister and going fishing with his cousin Kevin, his Grandad, and Uncle Joe. As a teenager he met his life long friends Aaron, Joe, Sergio, Curtis and Ozwalt which he had some of his best times with.

As an adult Darren had his proudest moment when his daughter Kaitlyn was born, she was his whole world. He enjoyed playing soccer and acting silly with her. Darren was employed at OICC where he worked with his dad and also as an assistant manager at Wrights, where he made some wonderful friends. Darren was a big hearted family man. He loved his mom, dad & sister, but his first love was his daughter.

Darren was preceded in death by: Grandparents Patsy Andrews, Bill Brady & Kenneth McBay and Aunt Tamra McBay.

Darren is survived by: Daughter Kaitlyn Paige Barnard, Parents Bobby & Karen Barnard, Sister Randi (Alvin) Smith, Niece/Nephews Hayleigh, Nate, Maximus, Grandparents Teddy & Ruth Barnard, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.

Services will be held at Alameda Baptist Church in Norman, OK at 2pm Wednesday, January 6th 2016.    Reverend Phil Ratliff officiating.
