David Neal Pierce aged 69, residing in Oklahoma City passed away on September 2nd, 2022.

David, born on May 20, 1953, grew up in Oklahoma City along with his parents Dale and Thelma Pierce and older brother Richard Dale. He graduated Putnam City Original in 1970 and went on to graduate in 1974 from Northeastern University where he competed on the National level in Policy Debate. After graduating he taught Speech and Debate at Ponca City High School and then attended law school at the University of Oklahoma graduating in 1983.

At the age of 19, he married Kay Pierce, and went on to have 3 children, Richard Neal, Amy, and Kierra.

For those that knew David you either loved him or tolerated him.  David had many interests including watching his favorite teams play (Go Yankees!), collecting baseball cards, and trying to teach his grandchildren to say ‘Rhinocerous’.

David is preceded in death by his parents and son Richard Neal. He is survived by his spouse, Kay, children Amy and Kierra, and grandchildren Anthony Neal, Nicholas Connor, Madison Faye, Payton, and Alexander Neal.
