David Paul Zacker

David P. Zacker, 68, of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully at home on the evening of Friday, January 29, 2016 with family in attendance.

David was an oil and gas landman and title attorney who loved his work. He would gladly share the history of the city and the oil patch with any receptive listener. He had a deep love for nature, history, cards, family and friends. He was a generous man who was quick with a joke and smile. He was an endless source of trivia and general know-how, endeared to and adored by many.

David graduated from Bishop McGuiness class of 1965 before earning multiple degrees including a Juris Doctorate from OCU. He spent six years in the Army Reserve. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Zacker and Juanita Y. Zacker (Embree). Survived by his daughter Jennifer Zacker of Golden, Colorado and brothers; Mike Zacker (Shirley) of Oklahoma City, OK , Phillip K. Zacker (Jan) of Edmond, OK, and sister, Sally K. Gold (Bill) of Oklahoma City, OK, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, February 5, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City for those who wish to attend.
