In tribute to his wife, Simon penned the following homage: “Delena, I will never stop giving thanks for you, remembering our wonderful life together. I am grateful to have known you, fortunate for having embodied into our lifetime the lifestyle of togetherness, truthfulness, gracious partnership and harmonious companionship which ensured a successful love and marriage. Throughout our shared journey, you invariably demonstrated your selflessness, dedication, support and perseverance above and beyond the call of uxorial devotion, hence you earned my highest esteem and profound gratitude. Your pleasant smile, cheerful attitude, compassion for others and strong feelings in support of humanitarian causes revealed a decent person. Delena, you are the light of my life, and you made me a happy man! You will be dearly missed, fondly remembered and never forgotten. Thank you. Love, Simon.” Rest in Peace, Delena.
