Dolores June (Lorie) Thrasher

Dolores June (Lorie) Thrasher, 60, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away after many months of fighting a tough illness on September 23, 2016. Heaven was instantly blessed with a new angel. 

As Lorie passed from Bruce’s loving arms to her Lord  & Savior, she was surrounded by the love of her family, including her precious dogs.

She was born in Bloomington, Illinois to John Ulrich Jr & Gladys Zimmerman.  She relocated to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in Junior High where she met her future husband of 37 years, Bruce Thrasher.

She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her loving husband Bruce, her mother, two sisters Donna Grossman (Michael) and Diana Ishmael (Tim), as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Lorie found her profession at a young age and continued to educate and improve herself regularly.  She attended Texas Womens University and became a Registered Nurse Operating Room First Assistant.

Lorie was very well respected in her profession and had a positive effect on a great many people… she will be greatly missed by all who loved her as well as the dogs she loved.
