Donald Ray Free age 72 of Kingfisher, Oklahoma gained his angel wings on September 27, 2018 in Oklahoma City Ok after going through lung cancer surgery and being cancer free only to pass from complications due to the surgery.

Donald was born on September 19, 1946 in Kingfisher Ok to Ernie and Magaret Ronspiez Free. He was a life long resident of Kingfisher only leaving home for his stint in The United State Navy.

Donald attended St Peter and Paul Catholic School until he quit in 8th grade. He got his ged at the age of 50 and he and his family were very proud of this accomplishment.

He joined the United States Navy in June 1965 and was honorably discharged in June 1969. He had many tours with memories made on each one, He was a Vietnam Vet and was proud of the service he gave his country. He remained a true American Paitriot his entire life.

He married the love oh his life Manda Loftis on October 25, 1969.Se proceeded him in death just short 8 months ago…leaving a big void in his life.

He and his love had 3 beautiful children that they both loved and were so very proud of…Sheila..Darrin..and Jennifer.

Donald worked as a mechanic and a sheet metal worker most of his adult life but his true passion was his family..He loved being a husband,,,daddy and paw-paw!!

He is survived by his 2 loving daughters, Sheila and Warren Stallard of Loyal, Oklahoma, Jennifer and Rob Mitchell of Colorado Springs, Co. And a Loving son Darrin Free of Kingfisher, Ok.

11 grandaughters..Brianna Stallard, Charly Miller, Amanda Essig, Jennifer Stallard, Paige Stallard, Dustee Stallard,Alexis Free, Chelsey Free, Maggie Free, Autumn and Ember Mitchell

1 grandson Chadly Don Free

2 great granddaughters Anastasia and Alora Essig and 3 great grandsons Ryland and Rylie Essig and Connor Miller

He is survived by 2 brothers Joe and Floyd Free of Kingfisher, Oklahoma

He is proceeded in death by his wife Manda Loftis Free, both parents Ernie and Magaret Free 2 sisters Charlene Free and Margaret Ann Dennis and 2 brothers Jesse Free and Chuck Free

A celebration of life will be held on October 13 at 11am in Kingfisher Oklahoma at Frontline Ministries, with a meal directly after for the family.
