Born January 3, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Doris Ann Stephens was the daughter of Anna Bell and Denzil Homer Garrett.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ore Stephens; her parents; her sister, Sharon Wilson; and her brother, Roy Garrett.
Doris is survived by her sons, James (Jenine) Stephens of Norman, Oklahoma, and Ore (Karlene) Stephens of Dibble, Oklahoma; her brother, Charlie (Janet) Garrett of Norman, Oklahoma; one grandson, James Stephens; five granddaughters: Sunny Stephens of Sasakwa, Brittaney Stephens and Kadee Stephens of Norman, and Kaci and Karley Stephens of Dibble. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Doris had a deep love for her grandchildren and treasured the time spent with her family. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino, working on puzzles, and crocheting in her free time.
A memorial service celebrating Doris's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Del Baptist Temple, located at 3236 SE 15th Street in Del City, Oklahoma.
