Eddie Dean Hines

Eddie Dean Hines was born to Hulet Henry and Valgene Sylvia (Fegter) Hines on July 25, 1958 in the Franklin County hospital, Franklin Nebraska. He departed his life February 7, 2019 at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 18 days. He was the sixth chils of 9 children. Surviving siblings are Sharon Kay (Husband Lloyd Edwin Jr.) Dawson of Guthrie, OK, Charlene Jolene Pollard of Meridian, OK, Faron Lee (Wife Janet Kay) Hines of Thayer Nebraska, and Cary Wayne Hines of Covington, Ga. Siblings gone on before him are Dottie Kay Hines, Bryan Scott Hines, and Shirley Jolene Brock.

Eddie is the father of 6 sons Shawn Dean Hines, who lived only 3 days, Jesse Dean Osborne of Crete Ne, Joshua Edward (Wife Tierra) Hines of Lincoln NE, Justin David (wife Chloe) Hines of Bennett Ne, Derek Michael Nickolson (wife Connie) of New Hope Al, and Lucus James Hines of Decatur, Al. He has four grandchildren.

Others who proceeded Eddie in death are his  father Hulet Henry Hines, his Step- Father Arnold Clay Gill, Brothers in law Jerry Dean Pollard and Robert Ray Brock. His Grandparents Eddie frerick and Sarah Marie Fegter, and James Edward and Edna Pearl Hines.

Eddie was Stricken with polio on his left side at age 7 months. He endured several surgeries and wore braces on his left but is handicap never slowed him down until he was forced to retire handicap at age 46.

Most of his 31 working years were with batterton waterproofing. His boss, Lee Batterton, became his dearest and life long friend. Eddie’s magnetic personality earned him many friends.

His hobbies became fixing old lawn mowers and repurposing old trailer homes.

Cremated internment is set for July 25, 2019 at the Evansville Cemetery near Meridian, Oklahoma.
