To the Family & allllll the Friends of Mr. Breger,
We visited The Round Barn a few years ago and cossed-paths with Mr. B. Within a couple of hours, we believed him to be the essence of ‘The American Spirit.’ He wove a wonderful tale of how he helped (along with many) to preserve the beloved old bldg.. The action brought the community together and it had revived the economy of the area. Everything about this place and the participants just glows! This is what makes our nation great – honorable people doing good deeds for others and goodness was returned in great bounty.
If Mr. B. is granted ‘a Mansion in Paradise’ by GOD, I can imagine he has volunteered to help erect a handsome, round barn at the side of his place for all the angels and saints in Heaven to enjoy.
Our sympathies to all who loved and admired this kind man.
Delois L. Kinney (Breger) says
My big brother was a jokester, he loved to talk to anyone that would take a few minuets to talk to him he always had a joke to share an a smile, he loved working at the barn because he got to meet and talk to people from around the world.
One of his favorite pastimes was feeding the birds, he would go out every morning with a couple slices of bread and whistle and toss the bread and the birds would come right up to him to get the bread, he had a squirrel that would come right up to him and eat at his feet.
One of his favorite hobbies was drawing and writing cute and funny jokes and sayings.
I love him and will miss him.

I just heard yesterday that Butch had passed away. I went to grade school with him so guess I knew him most of our lives. Several years ago I stopped by the round barn and visited with him. It had been such a long time since I had seen him that I didn’t expect he would recognize me; however, he knew me right away and told me about some of our other grade school classmates that would stop by the barn now and then. Sorry I never met his immediate family, but I knew his aunt and uncle with whom he lived. They were nice people. Thoughts and prayers are with Butch’s family. Rest In Peace Butch.
