After Frank’s military service ended March 20, 1969, he attended Barber College and ran the Hilltop Barbershop in Bessemer, Alabama with his father, Cecil Leo Cox.   After this, he moved back to Oklahoma where he spent a few years working with his brother Cecil Lynn Cox and his family in a school Fund Raising Business with fireworks for the Fourth of July.  One of his favorite things was setting off fireworks to celebrate our Freedom that is so precious to him and all of us. Frank then spent 27 years employed as a civilian at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma working on Air Force planes, including AWACS fighter jets and Stealth Bombers until September 1, 1997 when he retired due to medical reasons.

Friendship and fellowship was always very important to Frank.  After retirement, Frank made a trip to the Philippines to be the Best Man in a good friend’s wedding.  This trip became one of the biggest blessings of his life.  He met Hannah Khresna Morales of the Philippines before he returned home to the US and love unexpectantly blossomed between them.  He returned to the Phillipines, where he and Hannah were married February 16, 2015.  God had blessed Frank with a new loving family in the Philippines, along with a very special new family member, a beautiful, sweet daughter Elijah Franchezca (Francy) Marie Cox, who became the absolute delight of his life.  Hannah brought Frank back to Oklahoma because of health concerns, where he continued to work to bring Francy to America to be with her Daddy.  His greatest pleasure in life was always to help everyone he could.  He will be sorely missed by  his loving family and his friends.  In Frank’s loving memory, we are all so blessed to have been & be a part of his life and love.
