Ima Audine Pope, born in Erick, Oklahoma to Jay and Leona Storts on July 24, 1928. She passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 8, 2015 at the age of 86. Ima worked as a plan assigner in the telecommunications industry. She enjoyed quilting and sewing as some of her favorite hobbies.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Frank Pope. She is survived by 2 children Glen Porter and Rita Mattice, 5 grandchildren; Joseph, James and Joshua Porter, Michael Mattice and Melissa Ba, 4 great grandchildren; Kelba, Dominick, Khristy, and Casey, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
There will be no services for Ima Audine Pope.

Rita and family, hopefully you know ho much your mom meant to me and how sad I am that she passed on. I do know she is now where she wanted to be with the members of her family that have already gone to heaven and no longer hurt. She was definitely a fun lady that was as ornery as the rest of you so there is no doubt you all inherited it from her. I’m sorry she is gone from you now but you will get to be with her again. I know I’m looking forward to that myself.
