I remember staying at Jackies and Betty’s house from time to time as a kid. When I’d come out of Joe Don’s room late in the evening after playing guitar or Super Nintendo, Jackie would always be in his chair, watching Star Trek, and listening to the police scanner…every time. It didn’t matter that he was being extremely entertained in two ways at once, he’d always be kind and would talk to you if you needed something. I have nothing but good memories of Jackie and enjoy the memories I have of time with his family.
