Jacqui, we will miss you at Sequoyah. You always made me smile and were so good at giving me a hard time. The fact that you share the same name as my daughter is just another reason I won’t ever forget you. The place is just not the same without you. I am so glad I got to know you and you were a part of my life.
Jacki McClendon says
Nicki and Donnie
Your mother and I became friends the day I came to work at Sequoyah. She had a special love for the Special Ed students and for my daughter who is a special needs adult. We shared many good laughs especially about her referring to us as Jacq and Jackee. She was so proud of both of you and so excited about being a grandmother. I will miss her smile and her humor.

Jacqui was a one of my favorite people. I knew she and I would get along just fine, after she told me she’d kick my butt, within the first 2 minutes of meeting her. She will truly be missed. I thank God for bringing her into my life, for the short time I knew her. And I pray God gives her family Strength, and wraps his arms around them in this time. I ask that he bring them comfort, only he can provide.
