Jean Fay Forgue of Oklahoma City, 77, passed away surrounded by family on October 7, 2022. Jean was born July, 23 1945 in Fort Worth, TX to Willie Mae and John Cornelius Cleary. Jean graduated from Polytechnic high school in 1963 and then attended college at Texas Wesleyan College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Jean had various careers throughout her life, including serving as a department store buyer, and bookkeeper. She later became an entrepreneur and owned a small used book store, and then a printing equipment and parts store where most of her family worked.
Jean enjoyed numerous hobbies over the course of her full life. At a young age she began riding horses with her grandfather and sister, competing in barrel racing and other competitive events. She also excelled in her high school and junior college bands, playing multiple instruments.
She enjoyed reading and coloring, and was a big fan of science fiction, especially Star Wars and Star Trek. She loved participating in activities at her nursing home and will be remembered for her love of family and generous spirit that helped create countless special moments in the lives of all those around her.
She was preceded in death by parents Willie Mae and John Cornelius Cleary. She is survived by her twin sister Joan Kay Jensen, daughter Amy Hinesley, son Quentin Hall, stepdaughter Kristi Forgue, stepsons Jeremy Forgue and Micah Forgue, and grandchildren Lindsey, Zachary, Kelsey, Brooke, Madison, Katie, Miles & Jace and great grandchildren Stella, Chase, Lane, Luke, and Myra.
Services will be held Thursday at 11:00AM October 13th at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.
