Jerilyn “Jan” Anne Davis

Jan was born on December 17, 1948 in San Mateo, California to Gerald Bottorff and Anna (LaMascus) Bottorff. Jan grew up in California where she first discovered her passion for horses. She moved to Oklahoma in the mid-70s, where she continued to pursue her passion of owning and working with horses. Jan also loved all animals, and would go out of her way to help any animal in need. Jan met Dwayne Davis while working at Star Building Systems, and they married on September 3, 1993. Dwayne and Jan made a home in Moore, before moving to Norman in 1997, where she was able to have her horses close to her. She spent her free time enjoying her flowerbeds, relaxing next to the Koi pond, and advocating for horses. Jan’s greatest joy was her family; which included her husband of 23 years, son’s Brady and Daniel, daughter-in-law’s Crystal and Tiffany, and granddaughter Zoey, niece Leah and nephew Mark.

A celebration of life for Jan will be Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Castle Falls Grand Hall (820 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127) at 3:00 PM.
