We lost our beautiful Jerrie Lee Turner, after her battle with lung cancer. Born in Stroud, Oklahoma, attended John Marshal High School and lived most of her life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Proudly working as a meat wrapper at Safeway, a stocker at Walmart, and a courier at Planned Parenthood, where she received her lifetime achievement award. As well she cared for her 2 children, Valerie Simmons and Bill Cooper, 3 grandchildren Tiffany Moad, Jonathan “Will” Cooper and Kelly Goodloe, and 4 great grandchildren, Logan Moad, Luke Moad, Bentley Cooper and Evangeline “EV” Moad. This lady was stubborn, strong, independent, hardworking, and loved every one of us with all her heart. She set a very high bar and was one of a kind. We will miss her so very much but relieved her pain is over and she is with God, reunited with her beloved son and brother. Until we meet again.
Preceded in death by her parents Woodrow Wilson Heathman and Illa Mae Sellers, 1st husband John Cooper, 2nd husband Joe Turner, son Bill Cooper and her brother Del Heathman. Survived by her daughter Valerie Simmons, grandchildren Tiffany Moad (husband Christopher Moad), Jonathan Cooper, Kelly Goodloe, great grandchildren Logan Moad, Luke Moad, Bentley Cooper, and Evangeline Moad, and her sisters Nida Choate (husband Jimmy) and Judy Heathman.
