My sincere sympathy to all who loved and cared for Jesse. He was a kind person with friends at all levels of society, a person seldom forgotten standing a full 6’5″. Living the frugal lifestyle that he did, it annoyed him that he couldn’t buy clothes on sale or at thrift stores rather than at Big & Tall shops. He could always figure the best deal whether buying lunch or a car. With his full, white beard, Jesse was Santa at malls a few years and even walked in the Edmond Independence Day Parade one year as Uncle Sam. Jesse was a knowledgeable numismatist and appraised many collections throughout his lifetime. I’m thankful that I knew Jesse and even though I didn’t see him often these last years, I miss him. VA

Well Jess, What can I say…You were my brother-in-law & part of my family for so many years. You drove Jeff, Jason, Angie, Kelly & Brian around town & showed them stuff that I can’t even imagine. You made them pick up coke bottles & cans for re-sale. You & Janelle took care of Kelly, when I couldn’t. You were weird & funny & would sit in a hospital room with sick people for hours. You drove me crazy sometimes, but I always loved you. I will miss knowing you are no longer on this earth plain, but happy you are no longer in pain. I will see you again on the other side. I hope you will welcome me when it’s my turn. Till we meet again…I LOVE YOU, LizAnne

Jess was one hell of a guy. I loved him! He dated my Mom for a period of time and he helped her through some tough times. I found Jess to be such a character. Smart, funny, engaging, eccentric, and an overall great dude. Sending my condolences and love to the Jess Kirby family. Sincerely, Brian C. Robinson
