Joyce Aileen Ross (McCrain) of Yukon, Oklahoma formerly of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away on October 10, 2020 with loving family by her side. She was born on November 24, 1933 in Swannanoa, North Carolina, the daughter of George McCrain and Mytis Sitar (Gosnell). Joyce loved spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed hiking in the mountains, traveling, and cooking for her friends and family. Joyce worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 25 plus years, and taking care of her family at the same time. Her greatest joy later in her life was her grandson Connor.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Glenda Bitner(Steve), twin sister, Kathy Shackleford (Conrad), sister-in-laws, Dorothy McCrain, Aileen McCrain, grandson Connor Bitner, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joyce was proceeded in death by her parents George McCrain and Mytis Sitar (Gosnell), son Bill Ross, sister, Janette Weaver, brothers, George McCrain, Ray McCrain, Raymond McCrain, Donald McCrain.
Joyce was loved by so many and she will be greatly missed by so many.
