Kenneth Gerald Henry, born February 22, 1939, passed away on November 11, 2018. He was born to John H and Mary Effie Henry, the 6th child of 11 children; seven brothers and three sisters:

He married Peggy Lee Mullins, of Council Grove, Kansas on July 20th, 1958. They had four children, six grandchildren, and one. great-granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Henry, daughter, Shelly and son-in-law, Mark McMillan, sons Terry “Bo” Henry, and Anthony “Ty” and daughter-in-law Alicia Henry. Grandchildren, Tasha and husband Drew Voge, Ethan, Ashley, and Tanner McMillan and Tia and Taryn Henry. Great, granddaughter Rayleigh Voge.

Five brothers, Richard, Darrell and wife Phyllis, Joe and wife Kay, Irvin and wife Wanda, Charles and wife Sandy, two sisters, Helen Wright and Sandra and husband Charles Sullivan. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Proceeded in death by his beloved daughter, Jeri Lynn, his parents and brothers, William and Lee Henry and sister, Mary Hart.

Known as Hank, he was a proud veteran who served in the Air Force. He worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Topeka, KS for 22 years, retiring early due to a back injury.

He was a member of the American Legion post 400 in Topeka, KS.

In December of 2017, Hank finally obtained his dream of living on the Grand Lake of OK.  Due to health, he only had a year. His dream was to die with a fishing pole in his hand.  Well, he can fish with the best now!  He loved hunting with his brothers, and watching sports with his sons.

“We always took life one day at a time … so goodbye for now, my million dollar baby.”
