Kristin Elizabeth Weeks

Kristin E. Weeks – 21, of Oklahoma City, passed away July 23, 2020.

She was born in Oklahoma City on October 4, 1998 to Alysia Gales and Ronnie Weeks.

Kristin was such an amazing person with such a big heart.   She always found a way to make you feel so loved and so important.   She never wanted to see anyone sad or upset and she always had a way of making you laugh even when you thought it was impossible.   She was so funny and so silly that you couldn’t help but laugh and smile when she was around.   She loved to hang out with her friends.   Some of her favorite things to do were ride four wheelers and to do all those silly challenges like eating the hottest food and pouring a bucket of ice water on herself just so she could say she had done it.   She also loved to make videos just so she could see how many people on Facebook would log on to watch.   When she wasn’t with her friends, being her silly bubbly self, she loved it when we would have family dinners.   She loved it when she found out that mom was going to cook she would get so excited.   One of her favorite dinners was always momma’s tomato potato soup.   She would just light up when she knew that was going to be our dinner for the night.   She would always try to sneak in and steal the cooked egg yolks from us if she knew we were making potato salad, deviled eggs or really anything that involved boiled eggs.   But the thing that Kristin loved to do the most was to spend as much time with her niece Jenna.   She would always tell everyone that was her baby and I don’t think I have ever seen a bigger smile on her face than when she was with Jenna.   She loved Jenna with all her heart and Jenna loves her aunt Kristin more than anything too.

Kristin was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Beth Gales, her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth James, her maternal aunt, Bethann Wilson “Aunt B”, and her maternal great-grandmother, Fany Joe Gales “Grandma Gales.”

Kristin is survived by her mother Alysia Gales and step-father Larry Wilson; her father Ronnie Weeks and step-mother Veronia Weeks; her brother Ronnie Weeks; sisters Shana and her husband Raymond Spencer, Lacy and her husband Kole Hammack, and Ashley and her husband Joey Barboza; her three nieces Jenna Spencer and Gabby and Jocelyn Barboza; and many aunts and uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Corbett Funeral and Cremation, 807 W Wilshire Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.   Attendees will be required to wear a mask upon entering the funeral home, and all attendees will need to provide their own mask.
