Louie “Kyle” King passed away on January 1, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 67.

Kyle is survived by his children, Sarah Marshall and husband Jamie, Meredith Brooks and husband Remington and Jacob King. His Grandchildren Libby Abuamarah and husband Haitham, Ivy, Charlie, Mikey, Bubba, Kyle JaneMarie and Sadie. Great-grandchildren Malik and Mila. Kyle is also survived by his five siblings, Norval King and wife Bonnie, Kathy Moody-Conwell, Doak King and wife Carolyn, Cindy Arwood and husband Jim and Tammy Brummell. He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Velma King.

Kyle was born on March 28, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to Willard and Velma King. He graduated from Lawton Eisenhower High School in 1970.  He married Marcella Paul in 1973 in Oklahoma City, they had three children. Kyle worked for Santa Fe Railroad for several years and as a bartender for many years.  He later earned a bachelor’s degree in special education and taught in this field for over a decade.  For numerous years following his teaching career he worked for programs that served troubled youths.  Kyle was a talented artist, designer and creator.  Kyle was commissioned to create numerous pieces of art and had a couple of shops over the years where he sold his creations.

Kyle was a loving Dad, Poppy, Great-Poppy, Brother and Friend. His love patience, understanding, wisdom, and his amazing sense of humor will live on in us forever.
