Larry Lester Fuston was born on August 13, 1952 to John Dudley and Genever Obedia Harriet Fuston in Dover, Oklahoma. On January 19, 1974 he was united in holy matrimony to Sheilah Florence Fuston in a fruitful marriage of 43 years. To this union two children were born, Shaemon’ Danese’ and Dionna Dianne. Larry loved to spend his time fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, road tripping, and visiting with family and friends. Many of his cherished friendships were developed during over 20 years of employment with the City of Oklahoma City.  

The love that Larry carried for the biker community led him to become an active member who served as Sergeant at Arms, Secretary, and Road Captain of the Oklahoma City chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Bike Club for more than 10  years. In 2014, People’s Church became Larry’s church home where he steadfastly served as a parking lot attendant, helped maintain the grounds of the OKC campus, and was baptized in February 2015. He proudly and deservedly celebrated his retirement from the City of OKC in 2015.

Larry’s father, John Dudley, mother, Genever, brothers, John, Marcelus, and Fredie, and wife, Sheilah preceded him in death. He is survived by his two daughters, Shaemon’ and Dionna Fuston, brothers, Samuel, Roy, Ronald, and Roger, sisters, Annabell, Genever, and Hartence, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, brothers & sisters in Christ, and his first grand daughter, who will become part of his rich legacy of love, loyalty, faith, and family in March 2019.
