Lisa Ann Galloway, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, at the age of 70, in Norman, Oklahoma. Born on November 23, 1954, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Lisa touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter
She was the cherished daughter of Frank and Betty Lawrence, and grew up surrounded by a loving family that instilled in her the values of generosity and compassion. Lisa's spirit was shaped by her upbringing, and she carried these values with her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen Anthony, her parents, and her baby brother.
Lisa's legacy is continued by her devoted daughters, Joyce Olivera and her husband Ramon, and Jenny Haddox and her husband Lee. She was a proud grandmother to Brayden and his wife Tara, Ethan, Sofia, Alyson, and her husband Austin, and Alex. Additionally, Lisa was blessed with four great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Lisa's career was marked by her dedication and hard work. She contributed her talents to companies such as Dionex, Hooper Holmes/Heritage Labs, Odegard Crane and Display, and Variety Care. Despite her professional commitments, she made education a priority and proudly earned her GED, demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning.
A member of the Christian community, Lisa's faith guided her actions and interactions. She had a special talent for making others feel loved and appreciated, often expressing her affection through thoughtful gifts. Her passion for shopping was evident as she enjoyed spending time with friends, relishing both the camaraderie and the joy of finding the perfect gift. Lisa was an avid reader, and her love for literature was reflected in her conversations, where she would often share her latest discoveries with those around her.
Lisa will be remembered for her loving nature, her generous spirit, and her radiant smile that could light up a room. She had a unique ability to make others laugh, bringing joy to even the simplest moments. Her family and friends will forever treasure the laughter and love she shared with them.
As we mourn the loss of Lisa, we also celebrate the incredible woman she was. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Medical Park West and Frontier Hospice for their devoted care and support during her final days.
A private funeral service will be held, honoring the life of a woman who gave so much to those around her. Lisa Ann Galloway will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
