Martha “Marty” Conway

November 5, 1946 – January 14, 2020

Martha L. Conway, age 73, went to the Lord on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2020, after a brief stay at OU Medical Center in Edmond, OK. Martha, who went by “Marty”, died from complications from her 10 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born to John Raymond and Mary Louise Dutcher on November 5, 1946 in Tyler, Texas. She later met and married Bernard Raymond Conway in Oklahoma City on July 11, 1970 and they raised three children. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and also enjoyed drawing, painting, and gardening in her free time.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John R. Dutcher. She is survived by former husband, Bernard R. Conway of Marlow; daughter Cynthia Smith and husband Todd of Edmond; Justin Conway and wife Liberty of Edmond; Jonathan Conway and wife Carrie of Oklahoma City; brother Mark Dutcher of Oklahoma City; sister Elizabeth and husband Mike Bennett of Edmond; and sister-in-law Nila Dutcher of Edmond. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Christopher W. Smith and wife Moriah of Edmond, Megan Smith of Edmond, Katie Conway of Edmond and Jack Conway of Edmond.
