Vanessa Garcia Hutchins says
Grandpa Max was a gentle, kind, and sharp man. He was soft-spoken and would often surprise me with a quick joke, or tell a funny story, revealing the classic Hutchins wit. He was a loving grandfather to Grant, and to me.
Maxine Lansdown says
I did not have a chance to tell Max that our beloved Friendship Class at First United Methodist Church has closed down. We were a class from the l945’s until 2017. Our last meeting of 4 or maybe 6 members voted to disband. It was a sad day for all of us but so few can not carry on with our missions. I have known Max & Virginia from the time they first came to Enid. They were among my most favorite friends. To Mark, Richard & Anne & your children just keep in mind your happy times with your parents & that is what I plan to do also. God Bless you all. Maxine Lansdown
