Nancy Elizabeth Wood

Nancy Elizabeth Wood, 76, died on November 27, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was born on April 17, 1947 in New York City to Leslie Crozier Wood and Margaret Howard Wood.

Her father’s military career took the family around the world, living in NYC, the Philippines, Japan, San Francisco, Panama, and Atlanta.  Nancy spent many happy vacations at the family farm in Gaylord, Kansas. In 1962 the Woods moved to Clearwater, Florida, where Nancy graduated with the Clearwater High School Class of ‘65 and was voted “Most Talented.”

Nancy was an executive secretary, personal assistant, and professional organization consultant, working in Colorado, California, and New Mexico.  She was part of many theatre troupes, and had a practice in numerology, with clients all across the country.  She moved to Oklahoma City to take care of her parents, who predecease her.

Nancy will be remembered for her ready laugh, her folksy and personal writings, her ability to style a warm and cozy room, and her willingness to sing harmony anywhere, anytime
