Norberta Louise (Hermes) Coffman

Norberta Louise (Hermes) Coffman age 84 of Norman, Oklahoma and formerly of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 6, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Born on Sept. 6, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky; daughter of the late Norbert Louis Hermes and Evelyn Wilhemena Hager Hermes Streckfus

Loving mother of Mary Coffman Delafield, of Oklahoma City; Dewey Isaac Coffman, Jr. of Austin, TX; and William Craig Coffman of Del City, OK. She was preceded in death by her loving daughters Theresa Marie Coffman Rodriguez, and Diana Lynn Coffman both of Norman, OK.

She was the sister of Joanne Wright and Norma Martin and the late Charlotte Guynn.

The Grandmother of 7 , Aubrey Delafield, Graham Delafield, Cooper Delafield of Oklahoma City; Isaac Coffman, Elle Coffman, John Coffman and Julia Coffman of Austin, TX
and was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She retired from a 35 year career with Sears in 2005. Prior to that she worked in the home raising her five children while serving in their classrooms in Public School and her community as a volunteer. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling and decorating.

A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank Suncrest Hospice and Visiting Angels South for their care over the past year and INTEGRIS Hospice House for providing the comfort she needed in her last days.
