Paul Bull

Paul Bull, age 87, passed away on April 15, 2020, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family. Paul was born on Dec. 15, 1932, in the town of Cordell, OK. Paul graduated Central High School in Oklahoma City, where he was introduced to printing. Shortly after graduating, he joined the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country and served throughout the Korean War. Paul married the love of his life, Joyce Bull, on May 17, 1958. Throughout their 59 wonderful years of marriage, we had the honor to see the amount of love Paul and Joyce shared for each other and their four children. In March 2017, Paul lost the love of his life, Joyce. Not a day would go by that he didn’t speak of her. Their love was indescrible and the type of love everyone wishes for.
In March 1979, Paul and Joyce opened the doors of his printing shop, Paragon Press, following the passing of his beloved wife, Paul continued to run the business with one of their daughters, Edna, and her husband, Kelton. Over the years, his printing expertise, reputation, dedication and hard work led him to a successful and continued well-known business throughout Oklahoma.

He enjoyed traveling, sitting outside by their pool and spending time with their children. He loved watching their grandchildren and great- grandchildren swim and play in the pool. His family and his business was the light of his life, and it was made evident every single day. Paul was a loving father, an incredible man, a phenomenal business owner and the strength of our family. His love and strong work ethic was unconditional.
He was a pillar of strength and guidance and the devotion to his family was never-ending. Every day, he encouraged us to be a stronger and a better person than we were the day before. He taught us that love conquers all and to never lose faith. He taught us to always work hard and work for what we wanted because nothing in this life would ever be given to us.

He is survived by his four children, Steve McNeil & his spouse Jeannine, Pauline Baker, Edna Spears & her spouse Kelton, and John Bull. He leaves behind four grandchildren, Melissa Hanley & spouse Patrick, Michael McNeil, Stephanie Plummer & spouse Ronnie, and Kelsie Bull; and four great-grandchildren, Madison Hanley, Jackson Hanley, Mason Hanley, and Waylon Plummer. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Joyce Bull; his parents, George and Ethel Bull, and his siblings, Mary, Betty, Maurice, James, and Kenny.

Paul was an amazing man, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, business owner and friend.
