Mrs. Pauline Hale Rea, 82, of Bethany, OK, passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 6, 2020. She was born Jan. 7, 1938, in Chickasha, OK, a daughter of the late Clyde Hugh Hale and Rosanna Gribi Hale.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Shuller J. Rea; her brother, John Gribi Hale; and her great-grandson, Holland Monroe Dion (son of Nic and Whitney Dion).
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, expert level word search, listening to Ray Charles, and treasure hunts with the grandkids. Pauline traveled to every ballpark in the state to watch her grandkids play baseball. She will be remembered for her hilarious voice mails and driving through the snow to deliver Taco Bueno to her grandkids. Most of all, Pauline will be remembered for creating a song for each grandchild and great-grandchild that they will cherish forever.
Pauline is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Julia Baker Walker (Russ), of Cape Coral, FL; and Janie Baker Dion (Ted), of Longmont, CO; grandchildren, Nathan Dion, of Yukon, OK; Courtney Parker Glocke (Gary), of Edmond, OK; and Nic Dion (Whitney), of Salt Lake City, UT; her great-grandchildren, Parker Rea Minter (son of Courtney Minter Glocke) and Drew Louise Dion and Ivey Collins Dion (daughters of Nathan Dion); and her brother, Jimmie Hugh Hale, of Tulsa, OK. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
