Richard Lee Heath

Richard Lee Heath, 64, resident of The Village, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022. “Rick” as we all knew him, was born on September 21, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Roger Lee Heath and Judith Ann (Northcutt) Heath. Rick grew up in Oklahoma City and Del City, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Del City High School in 1976. Thereafter, he attended and received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from The University of Oklahoma in 1980. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1990.

Rick was employed several years with Farmers Insurance Company, Inc., before being admitted to practice law in 1991, wherein he practiced up until his death at his firm, Richard L. Heath, P.C.

In his spare time, Rick enjoyed tailgating and all things OU Football and following the Oklahoma Sooners. He had a love of travel, especially if his destination included a beach. He had been to many states and multiple countries throughout the years. Rick also had attended many concerts, a list to be envious of.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Lee Heath and Judith Ann (Northcutt) Herrin.

He is survived by his wife, Amber Heath; stepdaughters, Kristen Anderson and Kaycee Dunham, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brothers, Craig Herrin, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Stephen Heath, and wife Wendy, of San Francisco, California; two nieces, Nora and Vivian Heath, also of San Francisco, California.

A private family memorial is planned.
