Mustang, Oklahoma

Roxana Lea Marquis, 61, passed away peacefully at home early morning of Friday, October 4, 2024 with her daughter Kaley by her side. Born on September 22, 1963 to the late Jack Marquis Sr. and Carolyn Paterno (Pooler) in Waurika, Oklahoma. She was the 3rd of 4 children. They moved to El Reno, OK where she grew up and went to school and graduated at El Reno High school in 1981. Roxie later moved to Florida in 1986 where she later had her one and only daughter Kaley Rivers (Marquis) in 1991. She then moved once again to Tennessee where she settled down and then earned her Bachelor’s degree from MTSU graduating with honors in 2001. She had moved to Mustang, OK in 2017 where she worked from home with the court. Roxie was such a joy to be around and was guaranteed to make you laugh. Her smile and laughter lit up every room she walked in. Roxie was very spiritual and loved the lord and was obedient to God. She was the most loving, caring and just overall the best mom and nana. Her daughter and grandchildren were her world as she was theirs. She would move mountains for her family. Roxie was also a die hard Oklahoma Sooners college football fan. Roxana Marquis was predeceased by her father Jack Marquis Sr., grandparents Leroy Martis, Lillian Martis, Walter Marquis and Ada Marquis, great grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Roxana will be deeply missed by her daughter, Kaley Rivers (Jeremy Rivers), grandchildren Kailyn Davis, Jayden Davis and Jaysiah Rivers, siblings Jack Marquis Jr., Kimberly Marquis and Christina Umana and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friend
