Shari Sumner Williams Myers

Shari Sumner Williams Myers was born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 27, 1957 and died August 16, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is survived by her mother Gay Williams, her husband of 40 years Ron Myers, her daughter Katie Philpot and husband Brian Philpot, 2 grandchildren Joe and Emma Philpot. Shari was preceded in death by her grandson Luke and her daddy Roy Williams.
Shari’s loves were family, pets, her art, the Temple, books, friends, her students, music, and her many friends on social media
Shari was very smart and very funny. Her smile was contagious and she had a very sharp wit. She was loved by many.
Her career included being a Vet-tech at a cat only clinic, a licensed State Farm agent/ office manager, A small business owner, an Artist, restaurant manager, sales person, student and teacher. Shari established a library in one church and expanded another at the Temple, she served as library chair for many years. She looked at her life as a “Interesting Journey”.
