Teresa Fay (Bilyeu) was born 11-5-1954 to Nancy Landale and the late Jesse Bilyeu. She was born and raised in Arkansas City, KS with her sister Cheryl Bilyeu Townsend. gave birth to her very best. On March 1, 1972 she gave birth to person who would be her best friend for the remainder of her life her daughter Angela Marie. They lived surrounded by the love of her parents Nancy Bilyeu Landale and Robert Alexander Langdale. Teresa managed the Taco Tico in Winfield Ks after she graduated in 1973 from Ark City High School. She worked hard and gave her daughter the rest of her time. Even though she was a young Mother Angie was the center of her world.
In 1976 she Met Jody Coffey. They were married on Feb 14th, 1976. Later that year in October she gave birth to her daughter Jennifer Lynn. Jody and Teresa raised there girls in Ark City, KS. They later moved to Oklahoma In May of 1991 she gave birth to their son Justin Lane. Teresa and Jody were married for 44 years! Teresa was the funniest person. She was always making jokes and just bringing laughter to those around her. Teresa’s friend Ronda Braden would say that she was the person friends called when they needed a sympathetic ear or help with a problem. She made every one feel welcome like a sister. Teresa became a Grandma in 1993 twice. Alicia Nicole Hockenbury in August and Damian Balthrop in November. In 1998 Cade Hockenbury was born in August then several years later her Granddaughter Shelby Coffey was born and she would share in the pleasure with Jody of raising her first 8 years of her life. Although she called Grandpa Jody Momma lol. For many years Teresa was Shelby’s Mother too. Teresa’s girls Angie Jenni, Shelby, and Tina learned so many things from Teresa most importantly to be a good person-love everyone-always be kind-be a good friend-family is everything- and to help others. We know her soul is in heaven. We just wish all of her was still her with us. God must’ve had something very important for her to do because to us she was gone way too soon. Until meet again our beautiful mother. We will be trying to keep our hearts as good as your. We will keep being as you taught us to live with Loyalty Laughter and love.
Please meet us when we pass so we won’t be afraid because it already seems like so long since that night when we laid with you as the Lord took you to a better place. So we will strive to get to that better place because every thing is better with you. Please ask God to help heal our broken hearts and feel us with his peace because My heart may always be shattered because I still need you.
