I never met you in person either Tom, but we had a close relationship. You fought honorably and heroically in Vietnam and made your way through life with those scars both inward and outward. Together we beat the VA so you could receive your well deserved benefits. Through the EZBoard, Yuku Board and Tapatalk we all got to know you well. You loved your family dearly. When your grandchildren came along you shined brightly with pride and happiness. We enjoyed hearing about you throwing “slabs” on your bbq and pulling in those crappy and catfish. Our consolation comes from knowing that you are in His hands now. Our prayers are with your Family as they grieve your loss Brother. Rest easy as God will comfort them and soften the pain while encouraging them to focus on the “Good Times”. We’ll all see you soon…

Tom, I never had any biological brothers but you and our fellow Riverines are closer to me than family in many ways. Thank you for years of sharing your life from day to day. Thank you for caring about our hard-earned brotherhood. We will meet again soon enough. Dave

I got to know Tom through the brotherhood of our Brown Water Vets board. Loved his laid back approach to life and to the bumps in the road that come our way. As well, he knew his way around a smoker/grill and loved it when he let us know he was getting after a slab and then heading to the boat to catch a mess of crappy. We will miss him dearly… and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in peace brother.
