Timothy Asa Conway, 63, passed away of natural causes Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Tim was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on July 17, 1956 to Bernard and Dorothy (Philbrick) Conway. He lived in Midwest City, Oklahoma most of his life and recently moved to Edmond, Oklahoma.
Words are inadequate to fully describe Tim’s wonderful nature and the resulting loss to his family. He looked at the world through his beautiful blue eyes without judgement and only love. He was kind with a tremendously peaceful spirit. He was a good man; extraordinary in fact! He also was passionate about animals.
Most important, Tim loved his family without reservation and we loved him back. He dedicated the later portion of his life to helping his mother Dorothy, and was always there for her.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Conway Dryden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (mother lived most of her life in Midwest City, Oklahoma); one brother, John Conway of Moore, Oklahoma; three sisters: Susan (Albert) Conway Gray of Salt Lake City, Utah; Constance (Bobby) Pidgeon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Cheryl Riley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jan Conway (Steve) of Edmond, Oklahoma; nine nieces and nephews: Melissa (Scott), Jerry (Addie), Barbara, Tiffany (Kevin), Ryan (Miranda), Erika (Rex), Travis (Amber), Colby, and Chloe and six great nieces and nephews: Logan, Juliet, Blake, Alex, Erica, Grace, Garrett; and many more family and friends.
Tim was preceded by his father, Bernard Francis Conway and his sister Candace Mary (Conway) Graves.
This Irish blessing best captures the depth of our loss but with the expectation that he is well cared for and that we will all meet again as a family.
Until We Meet Again
Each morning when we awake
we know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on.
Our hearts still ache with sadness
and many tears still flow.
What it means to lose you,
No one will ever know.
Our thoughts are always with you,
your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
There will always be a heartache,
and often silent tears,
But always a precious memory
of the days when you were here.
If tears could make a staircase,
And heartache make a lane
We’d walk the path to heaven
and bring you home again.
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.
Our family chain is broken now,
And nothing will be the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
A celebration picnic of Tim’s life will be held on his birthday, July 17, 2019.
