George Johnson says
Tim was a long time friend and co worker since high school and while he could be a little tough sometimes there was no one but no one that was as much of a soft touch as Tim. Tons of neighborhood children along with many nephews and nieces not to mention all my kids, just loved it when he came around. (On his street he was known as the mayor of asbury among a lot of the youth) How many times i would see him show up to my house and my kids would be inside on a beautiful day watching tv or video games and he would just clap his hands and say Come on, its a beautiful day! lets go shoot some basketball or play some catch and they would usually hop up and go outside as Timmy was always an outside kinda guy. One of my favorite stories which also showed my weak side was once a neighbor lady and long time friend told my wife “I think its great George gets out there and plays ball with the kids all the time” My wife says George? OH! you mean Tim! as we were built somewhat the same. Timmy spent a lot of time reading the bible and he loved to listen to a few different tv pastors we had many conversations about the end of life and he would worry about his salvation wishing he could do better and live better. I know he prayed often before bed and i have to believe his prayers were answered. Its hard to believe he’s gone and he is missed.

He spoke often and very highly of all his family members and often talked about his mom and dad and his brothers that have all passed before him and how much he missed them. Tons of neighborhood children along with many nephews and nieces not to mention all my kids, just loved it when he came around.
