I am Laura Byrd, Valarie was my husband Larry’s cousin. I met Valarie in 1977. She was the sweetest person. Over the years we lost touch. About a year ago she found me on Facebook. It was wonderful to hear from her. We spent some chat time catching up.
I am so sorry for your loss and all the lost years of keeping up with her. I still can’t believe she is gone. She will be greatly missed.
Ellendale Gabbert says
Me deepest sympathies, sadness, and prayers for my cousin’s soul and her family. I feel as though she must have gone to meet her “Uncle Joe”, my sweet father. He would light up when Valarie would call to check on him!
Life is short. I know she will be missed. She loved her family; I will miss her phone calls and texts. It was so nice to reconnect with her over the past several months.
God bless her soul and those she loved so dearly…her children and grandchildren!
Rest In Peace
