Lee graduated high school in 1964 from Waukomis, Oklahoma.  He was an avid sports fan as a young man, playing football and basketball. Lee was a proud Navy Veteran  joining the Navy right after high school, serving 13 months, of his 4 years on the U.S.S. Oxford in Vietnam, as an Electronic Technician.
