June 11, 1963 – July 13, 2015

A remembrance service is scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at the First Pentecostal Church of God located at 4300 S. Prospect, Oklahoma City, OK for William (Bill) Sutton of Oklahoma City, OK.  Minister Leon McDowell will officiate the ceremony. Cremation will take place under the direction of Oklahoma City Cremation.

Mr. Sutton, 52 passed on from this life on Monday, July 13, 2015 in Oklahoma City, surrounded by family and loved ones.  William was born in Artesia, New Mexico to Marsha Lee (Stewart) Brown and Wilbert Lew Sutton. He came to Oklahoma City in 1989.  On September 28, 2011 William was married to Brenda Owen in Oklahoma City.

During William’s journey on this earth, he worked as truck driver for Hammer, Inc. He was a loving husband, devoted son, beloved brother, uncle and friend. He loved to fish, spend time with family and friends and was always trying to put a smile on the face of everyone he knew or met. He was gracious, kind and generous, a gentle soul.

William was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and stepmother Carol Sutton.  Survivors include his wife Brenda Sutton of Oklahoma City; son Brandon Edwards of Clovis, NM; mother Marsha Brown and stepfather Gene Brown of Artesia, NM; father Wilbert Sutton of Hobbs, NM; Sister Teresa Brown of Blanchard, OK; Brother Gene Brown and wife Susan of Shawnee, OK; Brother Will Sutton of Neosho, MO; Sister Willa Rearick of Joplin, MO; sister Debra Butson and husband Dennis of Mansfield, TX; sister Cindy Smith and husband Steve of Odessa, TX and sister Susan Richards and husband Lee Roy of Artesia, NM as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and very dear friends, John and Teresa Lewis.
